About This Blog

In a world being assaulted by so many distractions, I one day came across the uniquely calming and tranquil writings of St. Gertrude The Great. I found her experiences so riveting and inspiring that I decided to share them with “accidental” visitors from around the Internet.

What an incredibly close relationship she has with Jesus.

Of course, once you get to know Gertrude through her writings, you realize that nothing is accidental with either her or heaven. You are here because you have been led here. We invite you to make the most of it.

As to myself, I am just one seeking to spread the word about this remarkable saint who was so close to Jesus and so highly regarded by Him.  I want no personal recognition for this work. I just want to be small and insignificant, which is how I feel when I kneel in front of Our Sovereign Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.  If you like what you read here, say a prayer for my favorite charity (the Poor Souls in Purgatory).

Here’s the prayer St. Gertrude gave us for them:

Eternal Father, I offer You the most Precious Blood of your Son, Jesus Christ, in union with all the masses said around the world today, for all the Poor Souls in Purgatory…for sinners everywhere, in the Universal Church, in my home and in my family.  Amen.

Welcome, and come again soon.
