The Spiritual Writings That Became A Handbook For Sanctity
In the late 13th century, God blessed a young cloistered nun with graces so special that she very quickly climbed to incredible heights of sanctity in her sheltered community. Her name was Gertrude of Helfa, (1221-1292), today revered worldwide as St. Gertude the Great.
Through Gertrude, heaven was to reveal many of its greatest secrets.
At the request of Jesus, Gertrude wrote down many of the conversations and revelations He shared with her. Classified by the Catholic Church as “mystical literature,” they highlight Our Savior’s immense love and mercy, and reveal an extraordinary, intimate pathway to personal holiness.
We’ve gathered a few of these gems for your personal reflection and edification.
